Memorial Day with the Eichner's

Our friends the Eichner's came to Durango for Memorial Day Weekend.  They were our first visitors!  Anton was Alex's best friend from Colorado Springs - they are two peas in a pod and love to play with cars and trains.  We had a great time and are glad they came.  I'll post pictures of our mountain bike ride separately.

Their car broke down on both the way out and the way home.

This is Alex when he found out they weren't going to be here as soon as he expected. 

Amy rode the Iron Horse Classic bike race where the cyclists race the train from Durango to Silverton.  The rest of the crew drove up to Silverton to watch her finish.

We took the kids downtown to do a kids bike race on Sunday morning.  It was pretty chaotic and intimdating for the kids.
