This week we went to Telluride for a couple of days of vacation and to go to the first day of the Bluegrass Festival. We had a great time. We stayed in mountain village and rode the ski area gondola back and forth between town. We saw lots of good bands at the festival - Del McCoury and Allison Krauss - plus I got to see Yonder Mountain String Band play a full show the night before the festival.

The Yonder show was across the street from the hotel and started at 9PM. The boys walked me over in their jammies.
The morning of the festival I waited in line to stake out our place and then went for a quick trail run up Bear Creek Canyon.
